2015 PH

After working full time in construction most of his adult life, Phil Henshall turned towards Art (as in painting) seriously from 2001. He found his most stimulating areas were the depiction of Space and Time in two dimensions. He used this to not only capture a special view of the world, but also to express his opinions on topics that he had formed over the accumulated years of his existence.

Phil Henshall uses the term AspectivismTM to describe this methodology. Aspectivism is the manipulation of perspective (about space) in order to express the elapse of time and/or a moving viewpoint, as well as an aspect from an extreme or unusual viewpoint.
