My first encounter with art was through church. With a penchant for ritual and spirituality, my work is best known for its fragility and darkness.
People and their direct surrounding are motivating my work. I believe that our environment shapes us as human beings. It is more than a “thing” outside us or our home, instead I consider it living within us. Once both the outside and inner worlds are reunited, it becomes a whole, in which we evolve.
These ink paintings are an exploration of this wholeness.
