How to Exhibit at ArtSpace Wonthaggi
- Look at the ‘exhibiting options’.
Consider if you are thinking of a larger individual exhibition, or a smaller ‘recent works’ exhibition. Decide how much space and which artworks you want to exhibit; do you want the full exhibition wall, or are you looking for a smaller presence for a longer period?
The Exhibition walls are sought after so you are advised to nominate the first, second and third preference dates for exhibiting.
You will need to arrange both digital and hard-copy images of works you wish to exhibit to accompany your application.
2. Complete the Form. Download link here: Exhibitor Application form
After looking at our exhibiting options fill in details of what space you would prefer on the ‘Application’ form – be sure to complete all other sections as well, including your contact details.
Apply per lineal metre of gallery wall or per shelf, tower or plinth.
Sign the form.
Attach your Artist Statement, bio, resume, or other text relating to the works to be exhibited.
Attach at least four good quality portfolio images of works that you wish to exhibit. Electronic images up to 2 MB each can be emailed to email@example.com.
For your first exhibit you may be asked by the curatorial team to bring in your work for them to better appreciate your art.
Attach the list of works you are proposing to exhibit complete with descriptions of each work including prices, outer dimensions, medium, materials etc.
If possible we will allocate to you the dates and space(s) you prefer. However arrangement in the gallery and gift shop are solely at the discretion of the Curatorial Team and work will be moved at times as is required for the overall best viewing of the gallery.
