Time: 10.00 am to 3.30 pm
Cost: $45 (BCAS members $40)
Skill level: Beginner / Intermediate

You will learn how to weave a bowl with natural fibres – so start scavenging now!  Bring along any pliable thinnish lengths of vine – the longer the better – such as ivy, jasmine, sarsaparilla vine or native kennedia vine. If you have access to some nice pliable lengths of willow 60-80 cm long or similar such as roadside cherry plum, for stakes, bring that too, otherwise I will have cane to supplement and some back up weaving material – ENOUGH IS USUALLY NOT ENOUGH so bring a big bundle! Be sure to bring sharp clippers and an old towel. You will learn about the collection and preparation of materials as well as weaving techniques during the class.
